This one hour DVD is a detailed course on Blues soloing.
Most proficient guitarists can knock out a Blues solo well enough to draw appreciation but how many actually understand what they are doing?

The course starts with the Blues scale patterns in A and two extra patterns not shown on Fastfingers Introductory video, The Complete Bluesman.

Then it's the Blues scale patterns in E including the very popular open E pattern; an essential tool for all Blues men.

Next you will learn dominant seventh and minor type arpeggios, again essential tools for Blues solo construction.

Section Two
is aimed at preparing you for following the technicalities of the solos, ensuring that you understand every move. Also in Section Two you will learn about two approaches to Blues soloing - the one key approach and the three key approach.
In Section Three it's down to business as you will be taken through three twelve bar solos in the key of A.

Each solo is played three times:-

(1) A detailed breakdown

(2) The solo played complete

(3) The solo played over a backing track.

This will help you to come to grips with the crucial timing necessary to play Blues solos successfully.

Section Four
is aimed at soloing in E with yet another three solos, each broken down and fully explained.

Section Five
is entitled 'Minor Blues' with yet another two solos based on the 1-4-5 progression, showing you a mellow side to Blues soloing, popular with top players. Also in this section there are various minor arpeggio riffs for you to practice and analyse.

In the final section of this unique one-hour course you will learn how to develop your improvisation using a special exercise I have invented to help you to develop this difficult skill.
